Everything is Changing!

ChicagoA friend and I were talking the other day about our technology and how fast things are changing. Every time you turn around something new is coming at you. This led to a conversation about our clients.
What you did for your clients in the past that was distinctive may not be considered special today.  Just like the technology industry changes overnight, so does the relationship you have with your clients and prospects. The minimum expectations yesterday are higher today. What do you do to stand out?
Try a few of these:
1) Go see them in person. (Wow what a concept!)
2) Help them solve a problem with their business.
3) Send them personal notes. This is an old one, but NO ONE does it!
4) Give to them without wanting anything in return. Have a giving heart.
There are so many other things you can do to stand out above the rest. We have tons of great marketing programs, promotional product ideas, cool fun printed material, and much much more. BUT…when it comes down to it, people buy from you. Connect with your clients personally and develop a friendship. That will be the most valuable marketing strategy you could implement.
